About Album
This album is the result of an improvisation workshop (2022) by Alessandro Sbordoni. The participants created the XYZ Ensemble, which continues its work far beyond the confines of the workshop, through live performances and this album. The album contains recordings of some improvisations from the workshop, focused on the theme of conduction. This fascinating phenomenon connects different musical genres; the final concert included a captivating score by Paolo Damiani and two improvisations based on conduction.
